County Endowment

Friday | June 30, 2023
All News

At Northeast Power, we are proud of our ongoing commitment to the communities we serve as we abide by the seventh cooperative principle, “Concern for Community.”  One way we give back to our communities is by providing “Sharing Success” grants to non-profit organizations throughout our service area. This grant is coupled by a match from CoBank, one of our cooperative lending institutions.

Fundraising efforts are underway to jumpstart the Shelby County Endowment Fund in coordination with the Community Foundation Serving West Central Illinois and Northeast Missouri. Through the County Endowment Program, when residents raise $15,000, the Community Foundation will then match it with an additional $15,000 in an effort to keep local dollars working for local causes. Northeast Power was happy to provide a $5,000 Sharing Success grant to help kick-start these efforts.
