Community Involvement

Community Involvement

As a cooperative, we are guided by the Seven Cooperative Principles and our employees truly understand the importance of the seventh principle - Concern for Community. Each year, the Northeast Power Community Fundraising Committee works hard to organize and facilitate a variety of fundraising and volunteer activities. The 2019-2020 campaign year kicked off in September with monetary pledges made by employees and participation in United Way's Day of Caring event. We are proud of the support our employees provide to our local communities!  2019-2020 Fundraising Committee - Rachel Bemis, Jerry Daniels III, Alicia Doran, Jamie Page, Tom Pearn and Adam Smoot.

United Way

Northeast Power supports the United Way in many ways with volunteer support on the United Way Board of Directors, Allocation Committee, Past Campaign Chairs and Day of Caring.

The employees and management team of Northeast Power work hard through donating and volunteering to help the Untied Way reach its campaign goal. This assists the United Way in fully funding allocation commitments.
